The Climb... Events at DKA this week!
DKA students in Year 11 achieved excellent outcomes in the summer:
80% of students achieved a 4+ in English and Maths combined and 56% of students achieved a 4+ in all the Ebacc subjects. 57% achieved a 5+ in English and Maths combined and 46% achieved a 5+ in the Ebacc subjects. There were extremely pleasing results in a range of areas including outstanding outcomes in the Arts, Humanities, Science, IT and Language subjects.

Mohammed Suleman – for making an excellent start to the year 10 course, by asking pertinent questions and on the whole, engaging more in the subject right from the offset.
Deen Hussain – for asking questions in lessons on things he did not quite understand and wanted further clarification on – well done!
Amirah Ahmed - She was willing to pay for the lunch of a year 9 student who was in front of her in the dinner queue on Tuesday and who did not have enough money in his account to buy his lunch that day. When I asked Amirah whether she knew the boy, she said no! This was one of the nicest things I have witnessed at Dixons and a real example of civility in action! A real act of kindness!
