What a Year!

Dear Valley View families, thank you for working so hard to help us work through the challenges of the pandemic and how that affected our school. We also recognize that the challenges we faced as a school are far less than those that all of you faced adjusting to the schedule and format of what school became in the last 15 months. Thank you for doing the best you could for your children, better times are ahead for sure!

We are excited for the start of a new school year and to provide some of the great experiences for students that we are accustomed to providing. We hope that you have a great family fun-filled summer.

Class Placement Announcement

To allow us flexibility in balancing our classrooms through the summer, class placement notifications will be mailed out in August.

Color Run

Valley View will be holding our Color Run on June 14th during the school day. All students will be able to participate. Unfortunately we will not be able to have spectators or other participants this year. Information was sent home last week with your child.

Medication Pick Up

Any medications at school will need to be picked up on the last day of school. If you cannot pick them up on June 18th, please email our nurse, jessica.hamer@esd401.org to make other arrangements.

Pick Up and Drop Off

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through the different ideas on how to improve our pick up and drop off process. It isn't perfect yet, but we are still adjusting to make it as smooth as can be given the current physical formations of the areas utilized.

Report Cards

Report cards will be sent home with students on the last day of school. If you have any overdue library books, those report cards will be released upon the return of the books.

Address Changes

Please keep the office updated on any address and phone number changes over the summer. We want to be able to mail you class placement information in August. Email any changes to: sarah.hatfield@esd401.org
