S.A.T. SCHOOL DAY 03/01/2023
On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, all 11th graders will have the opportunity to take the SAT at school, during the regular school day, free of charge. WHS students have already been pre-registered.
We cannot interrupt the testing environment to dismiss students from the test; this is a timed test and the timing is set though College Board. Please make appointments or other off campus plans for after 1:00 PM.
Students may bring a small snack or water to consume outside of the testing room, during breaks. Students will not be released to lunch until testing is finished, which will be after 1pm.
All students should plan to show up to their testing room and be ready to begin testing by 9:00 AM; students will be allowed in rooms beginning at 8:45 AM. The SAT is timed and late arrivals may not be able to participate.
Students should plan on being able to present a picture ID to confirm their identity.
Testing room information will be sent out the week prior to the testing date.
Calculators will be available for students in each testing room; however, students are encouraged to bring their own calculators that they use on a daily basis.
Please reach out to Angela.Matysek@pfisd.net with any questions in regards to SAT School Day at WHS.
Please visit https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/sat-school-day for more information about testing and allowable calculators.

WEISS HIGH SCHOOL ART
Weiss Artists competed in the annual Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) Competition last weekend. Three of our students are Area finalists advancing to the State-level competition in April!
Just to give you an idea about how impressive this is: our region, 13 North, is one of 20 regions competing throughout Texas. Our area alone had nearly 1600 entries from 19 school districts and 35 high schools. Out of all those entries, only 113 are advancing to state.
Presented here are the three amazing artworks, created by Weiss students, heading to state.
