Almost There!!
Can you believe we've made it to May?! We have seen our students represent our PACK so well this year by being Positive, Accountable, Courageous, and Kind. We have a few final important notes below. Hope you have a fantastic summer!
REGISTRATION FOR 2023-2024 IS OPEN!
We already held course selection, but don't forget that you also need to register for the school year. To do this you can go to
nebo.edu/registration or our website (
scms.nebo.edu) and click on the registration tab. This needs to be done for every student, every year.
Next Year Lockers
Some students desire a locker, others prefer to keep their belongings with them all day. Lockers will be only be assigned to those who complete a locker request form. Watch your email towards the end of July for the locker request form to come through. We will also post the sign-up on our website. Students can have their own locker or share with a friend.
Nebo School District Dress Code Policy
Please help us to make sure that your student(s) is/are following Nebo District's dress code policy. As the weather gets warmer and sometimes clothes don't fit the same way they did last fall, it is an especially important reminder. The dress code is outlined below. Essentially, students should be covered from shoulders to mid-thigh. The exact wording is listed below.
PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY 1.1 The Board of Education recognizes that students’ dress and appearance can affect their education. Experience and research show that the learning atmosphere improves when students’ appearance is not distracting. In addition, appropriate student appearance helps increase safety.
Nebo School Districts full dress code policy can be found by clicking here.
End of Term 4 Field Day and Reward Activity
On Wed, May 24th, we will be having our field day/end of term 4 reward activity followed with an ice cream treat. In order to participate, students need to have A's and B's and S's for citizenship. We have loved our reward activities each term!
City News - Cheer Clinic & City Rec Football
The Springville football team for middle school boys is recruiting boys to play. They will be holding a meeting in the lecture hall of our school on Friday, May 19th at 3:15 pm.
End of Year Testing
Students are mid-way through year-end testing. Students test in Language Arts, Math and Science. Please do your best to make sure your student is at school and on time, especially during the testing period. We are so excited to showcase the knowledge our students have learned this year!
Library News
Last day to check out a book from our library is this Fri, May 5th. Please be sure to return all books before Fri, May 19 to avoid late fees.
Reminder - Finish Strong!
We want to make sure we finish out the school year strong and safe! Please help your student(s) know that all school rules apply all the way through the last day. This is for everybody's benefit. Thank you!
2022-2023 School Fees & Lunch Balances
Please make sure school fees for this year and/or student breakfast & lunch balances are paid in full. Lunch balances are found on parent's Infinite Campus accounts and school fees are found on our school website (scms.nebo.edu) under the School Fees tab. We'd be happy to help you in person or over the phone as well. Fees and meal balances not paid for by the end of the school year will be sent to a collection agency.
Food Drive
Our wonderful leadership class has decided that they would like to do one final service project to wrap up the year. They are going to sponsor a food drive May 15-19th for a local food bank. If you have anything you would like to donate please send it with your student(s). Items especially needed are toilet paper, pasta, cereal, rice, and oil.
We want to congratulate Monroe Bradley on her wonderful accomplishment of winning the nations reflections contest!
Above was her picture that she entered. She received the Award of Excellence for her Photography entry at the National level! That is the highest award in Reflections!
