WEEKLY COVID UPDATES
A chart with community case counts, average daily incidence rate per 100,000 over the last 14 days, and the percent positivity of tests over the past 14 days has been emailed to families and is available on the district website. Here are the highlights of the relevant information from the state, as of September 9, 2021:

While case counts have remained relatively consistent in Northampton and Easthampton, they have decreased in Westfield (163 down to 130) and increased in Amherst (37 up to 70).
Goshen has experienced the most significant changes by having a zero case count and 0% positivity rate over the past 14 days. NOTES:
1. The first six communities represent our districts and our high school tuition students.
Northampton and Amherst are of particular interest given their size in the County and their
importance as school and work destinations. Easthampton and Westfield are included due
to their geographic proximity.
2. * cells with fewer than five cells have been suppressed
3. 65% of Hampshire County residents have been administered at least one vaccination dose
for Covid-19 as of 9.07.2021
