For a burger it 10$ for one person to have a burger and a fee of 20$ so a person is X and the 10$ per person is the Y. Using this I made the equation 10X +20. . I did the same thing for pizza except X wans 9.25$ and the fee was 61.25$

Yes, to find this I would put an = sign in between the two equations and solve for x. Answer is 55

You can not have a decimal or fraction as your answer because you cant have and part of a person.

For burgers you can only have 98 people have a burger and if you have pizza people attend.you can only have 101.

BOUNCE HOUSE

For Hopin' Around it said 75$ per hour so i knew that the equation y=mx+b. At Jacks it says you can pay 54 dollars with a fee of 84 so i knew the equation was XY+84.

There is a point of intersection and to get there i would keep using both equations until they are the same and the point of intersection for this is 4 hours which both cost 300$

At Hopin' Around the bounce house could only be up for 10 hours because that would equal 750$. At Jack's the bounce could be up for 12 hours because it is just enough before going over the budget. A decimal could be included because an hour can be split up but a person cannot.

Plan

The best food choice for the party is pizza since it cheaper than burgers. For the bounce houses the best one is Jack's if it is up for more than four hours and Hopin' Around is better if it is up for less than four hours.
