  • complete the “Veteran Day Celebration” form by 11/4 (fill in a little information about the service person you are honoring), and
  • return the form with a photo of this person to your child's teacher.

Mrs. Ivy and Mrs. Tyner will be making arrangements to display our “Veteran Day Celebration” forms in time for Veteran’s Day. If there are any parents or grandparents who would like to help by arrange or organize our photos/forms that have been returned to Nelson, please contact Mrs. Ivy or Mrs. Tyner at your earliest convenience.

Hello Nelson Lions,

We need your help!!! Please link your Kroger Card to L.A. Nelson Elementary School and our school will earn money EVERY TIME you shop for groceries. It’s so easy and it costs you nothing, yet just by linking your card to L.A. Nelson you can give back considerably.

Simply go to www.Kroger.com/communityrewards

If you already have an account go to “sign in” (If you do NOT have an account you will need to set one up)

Once you have signed in click on “Enroll Now”

Then enter L.A. Nelson (you must enter the periods) or our school code which

is 90039.

NOW YOUR CARD IS LINKED!! IT’S THAT EASY!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

***If you linked your card last year you must relink it for this school year. Simply go to www.Kroger.com/communityrewards then sign in and click re-enroll.

ANYONE can link their card to our school. Do you have neighbors who don’t have kids or are retired? Ask them to link their Kroger card to L.A. Nelson Elementary.

Our goal is to get 200 cards linked to L.A. Nelson by October 15th. If we reach our goal the entire school will receive a popsicle party.

Last year we had 77 Kroger Cards linked to L.A. Nelson and we earned $998.47. Imagine what we could earn if we had 200. Please help us reach our goal. This year families will be spreading out their grocery shopping to include the new Wal-Mart and Sprouts on Teasley which makes it even more important to have as many Kroger cards linked as possible.
