Apex Fundraiser

What do the funds raised by our Fun Run pay for? Our goal this year, with your help, is to purchase Chromebooks! If efforts to enhance our students skills of collaborating, communicating, creating, and critical thinking, we need to increase our supply of laptops for student use in the classroom. Our teachers are eager to incorporate these skills with technology into their lessons and allow our students to develop these critical skills. Keep those pledges coming in!

Our donation collections is all being done online through the Apex website www.myapexevent.com to make the collection process easier and faster. Of course, sponsors can still pay by cash/check if they choose, we just ask that these donations be turned into the school any time before the Fun Run, so that students receive credit. Thank you for your support!

Playground Update

Soon WBE playground areas will be under construction! As part of the MISD 2017 Bond Program, new playground equipment, shade structures and synthetic play-surface at all elementary and intermediate schools are being installed. It will definitely be a challenge for us as we work around this, but the end results should be amazing! Our teachers will still provide recess time outside for our students to run and play.
