WISCONSIN FORWARD TESTING REMINDER (3rd-8th Grade)
Students will be taking Wisconsin Forward Exams March 21-April 22, 2022. The following are a few suggestions for helping your child do their best on the exams:
- Make sure your child gets an adequate amount of rest each night
- a healthy diet is important at all times, but specific research suggests that students are able to perform better on tests if they have a well-balanced breakfast to begin the day
- Tests are stress producers. Discuss the importance of doing well on tests, but too much discussion can be counterproductive so simply focus on encouraging your child to do their best
MISSING: Have you seen headphones like these? We are missing lots of them and need them for WISCONSIN FORWARD TESTING. If you see some and they may belong to Erin School (not always marked unfortunately), please have your child return them to school. Thank you!

FUN FAIR 2022 - SILENT AUCTION
Join us Saturday May 7th!
Believe it or not the annual Fun Fair is coming up fast!!!!
For those of you who have not experienced it before, the Fun Fair is the biggest PTC annual fundraiser of the year. It takes place here on May 7th and is a huge to-do. It is a carnival type event with games, prizes, food, bingo, and a large silent auction. I have been in charge of the silent auction part of the fair for many years. Lots of time and energy is put into it. Each grade has a theme and we ask families to donate items that go with that theme if they are able. These items are used to help fill the baskets that are auctioned off on that day (see grade flyers below). I also get many donations from outside businesses, who very generously donate a variety of items.
There are also many families who might like to donate within our school who own their own businesses or have some type of home based business. (For example, Tupperware, doTerra, Color Street, Young Living, Thirty-One, etc.) There are also some who might like to donate a specific item(s) from your family. If any of this applies to you and you would like to make some sort of donation to this year’s silent auction, please let me know. Please do not feel obligated or feel as though you have to donate. This is just to let you know who to contact if you are interested in doing so.
Thank you very much.

CONGRATULATIONS ROCKIN' ROADRUNNERS!
Congratulations to this week's Middle School Rockin' Roadrunners: Gavin Gies, Hailey Tomes, and Jake Matic. Each of these students showed outstanding kindness and leadership in different ways.
Raffle tickets are awarded to students who randomly show "above and beyond" behaviors in the areas of cooperation, initiative, accountability and integrity. These students earned certificates and a small gift card. We are looking for $5 gift cards if any families are willing to donate. Thanks to parents who have already done so!
