Schedule Changes

The second semester is quickly approaching! All schedule change request forms are due by January 9 at 3PM. We are unable to change FLEX hours to accomodate requests. Schedules change requests are not guaranteed due to minimal course availability. Requests to switch teachers or hours for classes are unable to be accomodated.


Missouri Boys & Missouri Girls State

Juniors - Don't Forget... The Early Application Deadline for MO Boys/Girls State is January 15th!

The American Legion Boys State of Missouri and the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Missouri Girls State are statewide leadership and citizen training programs for students who have completed their junior year and have distinguished themselves as leaders in their school. Missouri Boys/Girls State is a 1 week summer experience on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO held June 24 -July 1, 2023. Please refer to the attached flier for more detailed information. Note: Students can self-select by filling out the application but must be nominated by LHS. The number of students who can go is dependent upon the number of available sponsorships.

January 25 Bell Schedule!

The Annual Academic Fair will be held this year during the 5th hour so all students in grades 9-11 have the opportunity to visit with departments about their courses! A special bell schedule will be needed for the day. We will not be having Connect 30. Classes will be in session till 2:15PM!

Collegiate Nursing Academy Applications due soon!

Are you a current junior interested in pursuing a career in nursing? If so, LPS will have a new program next year called the Collegiate Nursing Academy. All accepted students will learn from William Jewell College professors along with teaching nurses at Liberty Hospital. The application is due January 17th so don't miss out! Application and information can be found HERE

Off Campus Opportunities Night!

SAVE THE DATE! On January 11th at 6pm, LHS will be hosting the Liberty Public Schools "Off Campus Opportunities Night." Please click HERE for more information. Students and parents will learn about programs from off campus program representatives. Lots of great opportunities for students!

Career Center Shadows!

Sophomores & Juniors interested in attending one of our career centers next year can now sign up to shadow their program of interest! Shadows are required as part of the application process. Please see Mrs. Quinn in the counseling center to set up a shadow. More information can be found on our website HERE

Northland Caps (NCAPS) Information

The NCAPS application for the 2023-24 school year is LIVE!! It can be found by clicking HERE. There is a banner at the top of the site with the link to apply. It will be open until February 10, 2023. NCAPS will be having a showcase event on Monday, December 12th at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. The classes will be there to present and answer questions for prospective students. If you are needing to be outside of the time listed, not a problem, they will be there in the AM until 10:00 am and PM until 2:30 pm.


Community Scholarship Program

Liberty Public School District is proud to bring back the Community Scholarship Program again this year!

The Community Scholarship Program is a program designed to provide seniors in our community with over 35 scholarship opportunities in 3 easy steps. We have partnered with some amazing organizations that want to help our Liberty High School and Liberty North High School seniors advance their education. Scholarships will be available to students who want to attend college and trade schools. Click HERE for more information.

Local & Regional Scholarships Available

Local & Regional Scholarships continue to come in! Check your Naviance Account under the College Tab and select Scholarship Search to see what is available. You might set a reminder to check back each week! Remember Scholarships are available for many different reasons, not just merit based. New Additions include: Excellence in Education Scholarship
