When nominating staff the nomination must again reflect how the staff member impacted you this school year by being trustworthy and/or respectful. Scholar nominations will be approved by administration before being awarded so that they reflect the pillars of character we are celebrating. In addition, the scholars can only nominate their current grade level teachers. Please do not use the Google staff form for scholars to nominate staff. They can come to the office for a form if needed.

Scholars can wear a costume on the day of his/her fall party. Star scholars we ask that no masks, total coverage of face with paint or make-up or weapons be a part of the costume.
Please remind homeroom parent that due to many allergies we are requesting that the party snacks be limited to a sweet item, a salty item, and a healthy item.
Please communicate in your party communications that the fall party is for Centerville Elementary star scholars only. Due to space no siblings are allowed at the party. This includes siblings from the middle or high school.
This will be communicated to parents but we need you to enforce this and share with parents that they we strongly suggest they don't take their scholar before dismissal.
All star scholars will be dismissed at our normal dismissal time on the day of the parties. If they plan to pick up their star scholar he/she can meet them at their normal dismissal area.
If a parent wants to take their scholar early they must walk to the office (without the scholar) and make the request and the scholar will then be called to the office.
Thanks for your assistance.
National Distinguished Principal Celebration
Although I was still feeling a bit under the weather I did enjoy the celebration. I attached a few pictures of the experience. I am very happy that Lifetouch took pictures and videotaped every moment and we will get copies.
Again, thanks for being the star staff that shines everyday!
