A Message from the Principal

Dear Jaguar Families,


Perfect Atendance-Congratualations to all of our perfect attendance winners for the month of February. They will receive an extra recess this week and their names will be entered into a drawing for a bike that will be raffled off in May.


Warm Weather-As the weather begins to warm up, please remind your students to bring a water bottle. This helps cut down on hallway traffic and excessive passes out of the classroom.


Student Dress Code-Please remind your student that our school dress code states that a student's front and side torso needs to be covered at all times. As the weather warms we begin to see more and more dress code violations.


  • Please also remind your student that undergarments should not be seen.


  • Students who are wearing shirts/tops that do not cover their torso will be asked to zip up their hoodies. If they do not have a hoody, they will be provided with a school spirit shirt to wear over their shirt/top for the remainder of the day. Thank you for your cooperation with this.


Cell Phones and Electronic Devices-Please remind your students of the following rule:

  • Cell phones and electronic devices are to remain silenced and put away during the school day. This includes AirPods.
  • We are seeing a significant increase in the use of electronic devices during instruction. This interferes with the learning environment of all students. The use of electronic devices throughout the school day is strictly prohibited. If your child needs to contact a family member they can do so with permission from an adult.
  • We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen devices.


AZSCI Testing-Our 8th grade students will be testing on March 21st and March 22nd. Please be sure that your child gets a good night's rest the night before, is on time, and is in attendance on these days.


CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR ATHLETES WHO MADE OUR BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, and TRACK TEAMS!


AN EVEN BIGGER SHOUT-OUT TO ALL STUDENTS WHO TOOK THE LEAP AND TRIED OUT FOR A TEAM. WE ARE SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!

Jaguar Booster Club

Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for 3/7/23 at 6:00pm. A text will go out at the beginning of the week with firm details.
