for purchase.
School Closings
In the event that school would need to be closed due to inclement weather or other emergency, parents are reminded to check the following stations and sites: WMBD-TV, WHOI-TV, WEEK-TV, www.centralillinoisproud.com, www.week.com, www.facebook.com/hollisgradeschool.
We will use Blackboard Connect to notify you of school delays or cancellations. You will receive a text and email message via Blackboard. If you are not receiving Blackboard messages, please contact the office!
If school is canceled or dismissed early for an emergency, all after-school activities are automatically canceled.
There will be no remote learning for snow days. These days will have to be made up at the end of the year.
Don't forget, we also have an option to start school an hour later at 9:15. Although we have not used this option yet, we could. This would provide extra time for car riders with the idea that roads would be in good conditions for travel a little later in the morning. Bus pickups would be an hour later. See the bus schedule on our website. Latchkey will not be available in the morning if we implement a late start.
