October is Safe Schools Month, but student safety is a priority for our district the entire year, every day.

Like many other school districts, CPCSC uses Standard Response Protocol (SRP) in the event of a safety concern. Understanding SRP can provide parents and community members with a better understanding of how schools respond in different types of situations. You can read more about SRP on our website.

CPCSC uses a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, and parents to submit safety concerns to our administration in multiple ways:

Every tip is immediately logged in the system and our administration is notified so they can investigate and take appropriate action. Tips may be submitted anonymously.

ParentSquare offers two types of notifications - Instant or Digest. Instant means you'll receive posts as soon as they are sent. Digest means each day's posts are sent in one email at 6 p.m. that evening.

You can adjust these settings based on different roles/buildings/ children, including how you receive messages (email, text, or app). Check out the video below for more information.
