2023 SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Similar to last year, this year’s Summer Learning Program will be a 4-day program Monday through Thursday. Offering a more condensed program helps us to properly staff the program and provide the flexibility for families and students to enjoy their summer while not missing out on the learning opportunities we offer. Registration is open from Tuesday, February 21, through Sunday March 12, and please note that like last year, registration is NOT first-come-first serve. All information including our Summer Learning Registration Guide and the registration form(s) are on our Summer Learning Program webpage here!
2023 KIDS CAMP SUMMER INFORMATION
Our Community Education & Recreation Department has information to share about the Kids Camp 2023 program. Kids Camp is for students that have completed 5K up through those entering 6th grade in the fall of 2023. You can view all 2023 Summer Kids Camp information here. Registration opens April 3rd but we are sharing this now so families can plan in alignment with our Summer Learning Program if needed.

School and Sport Pics will be taking orders until April 1st, 2023
REGISTRATION FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN!
Registration opens at noon on Monday, December 5th for the 2023-24 school year on our website here. Registration is for any new families to Franklin or new students looking to register for next year in 4K, 5K or up through 12th grade. If you have any friends or family in Franklin that plan to have children attend Franklin Public Schools next year, please pass this information along to them! Registering early helps to get all information in our system for planned communications.
Please note that any student that is already attending Franklin Public Schools DOES NOT need to register for next school year as a new student. This includes students already in Preschool Speech, Early Childhood, and 4K. All parents/guardians will be required to review your student’s data during our summer Back-To-School Online Check-In process. Any family who knows a student will not be returning for the next school year should notify your school’s main office staff.

LOST & FOUND
MESSAGE FROM MR. BAUER
Parents, students have been working hard on learning to jump rope. In the next few weeks we will be having an endurance challenge where students will be attempting to jump for 1, 2 or 3 minutes without missing. If they accomplish this they will get to write their initials or name on our bulletin board, where their classmates will get to see.
In addition to jump roping, we have been working on the volleyball skill of striking. For the 3rd through 5th grade students we have been playing volleyball lead-up activities and for our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students we have been working on short and long handle paddles.

Participants will engage in a 2-hour self-paced course followed by a 4.5 hour in-person session with a district trainer.
