Invention Convention 2015

Project Made by Christian A, Chris Y, Josh Z, and Marsalous

THIS WAS OUR PROBLEM:

We wanted to invent a cool hoodie with built-in earbuds that kids can wear without getting in trouble at school or at home, when they're supposed to be doing something else.

WE SOLVED THE PROBLEM ...

by designing a hoodie with removable earbuds, that comes with a free* app for iPhones/iPods. Teachers and parents can remotely control the student's iPhone/iPod, filtering out inappropriate songs/videos and limiting how much time a student can listen.

THIS IS HOW OUR INVENTION WORKS:

A teacher or parent loads the remote control app on his/her iPad and enters an 8-digit code that came with the hoodie at the store, into the app. The app then talks to the student's iPhone/iPod and the app can put restrictions on what the student can listen to, and when. It uses Bluetooth technology to wirelessly talk to the student's device.

IT IMPROVES/CHANGES LIVES BECAUSE

parents/teachers know what their kids are listening to, and when.
