Week of October 1, 2023
Principal's Message
Homecoming 2023 is in the books! Please check out the Zephyrhills Free Press Facebook coverage of the game, the band, halftime festivities, and Royalty.
We have 10 school days until the end of Quarter 1. Please log in to your MyPascoConnect MyStudent account to review your student's current grades and attendance. Please continue to check your myStudent Parent Portal for messages and up to date information. This is the main line of communication between the school and you regarding school issues, your student's attendance, your student's grades, and more.
Reminder: Please talk to your student about their behaviors and how they can make good choices while on campus as ZHS. Fighting behaviors, class skipping behaviors, profanity/vulgarity, and disrespect will not be tolerated at ZHS or in any Pasco County school. The overwhelming majority of our students exemplify Bulldog PRIDE standards every day and are not representative of what was shown in the media. We will also be reinforcing these messages at ZHS this week and throughout the school year.
Superintendent's Messages:
This summer, the Pasco County School Board passed an updated student cell phone policy. Due to concerns regarding inappropriate posts and threats, mental health concerns, and the loss of instructional time, the new policy limits the use of cell phones during the school day. Cell phones may be used only during passing and lunch. At no time are they to be out during class unless instructed to do so by the teacher. (See video and infographic below for more information.)
We are assigning consequences for student tardies, dress code, and cell phones.
Sports:
All Season Passes can be purchased on GoFan and are good for all home games.
They cannot be used for preseason games or the state playoffs.
Prices are as follows:
STUDENT- $30
ADULT- $40
FAMILY PASS (UP TO 5 family members)- $100
Bulldog PRIDE:
Our behavior, academic, and conduct standards are exemplified through Bulldog PRIDE.
PRIDE stands for
Proud
Respectful
Individual Thinker
Dedicated to Academics
Engaged
Closed Campus:
ZHS is a closed campus. Students are expected to remain on campus for the entire school day and do not have permission to leave campus for food/lunch. Additionally, outside food, food delivery, and food sales is not allowed, as it jeopardizes our Free and Reduced Meal status. These deliveries will be refused.
We are Bulldog STRONG!
