MGMS ROBOTICS TEAMS - Help them fundraise!
The MGM Robotics teams were on fire again this season, with all three teams advancing to state. The Gator Gears team earned 2nd place at state and will be traveling to the Arkansas Razorback International Robotics competition.
We are raising money to send the team to represent MGM in May at this international competition. Please consider making a donation through our GoFundMe page and passing this on to others in the Lexington community. Thank you for supporting our Robotics teams!
8th GRADE PASSAGES - Save the dates! April 2, 3, and 5
What is Passages? A Passages presentation is an opportunity for students to reflect upon their learning and demonstrate readiness for the next phase of their educational experience...high school. EL Education Schools provide this experience and opportunity to eighth grade students to help them improve upon public speaking and to prepare them for student-led conferences. This year, students will present their Passages in front of a panel. The panel will consist of teachers at MGMS and across the district, administrators, and community members. Passages is an important opportunity that empowers students to speak of their growth and progress as a learner.
8th GRADE PASSAGES PANELISTS - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We Need YOU!!
MGM will begin their annual 8th-grade Passages presentations and we need you to be a community panel member!
A panelist listens to 8th-grade students share their middle school experience and provides feedback on their journey going forward to high school and into a future career. Please consider serving and being a part of this impactful learning experience for our students. Use the link below to sign up and feel free to pass this link on to other business and community leaders interested in serving in our school.
