Recent Information

Early Spring Band Concert Info (Tuesday, Feb. 23 @ PMMS)

The Early Spring Band Concert is Tuesday, Feb 23 at PMMS. This is an amazing (and somewhat crazy) concert! Basically 12 ensembles will perform in 2 hours! Parent Band, Friday Ensembles, and our bands will all perform. To help everyone stay organized we have created a matrix. https://goo.gl/8a4MRh Please look at it carefully to find out what time specific meeting times and locations for all ensembles. Looking for 2 or 3 more people to help out with the tasks listed on the document.

7th Band UW-Whitewater Trip (Thursday, Feb 25)

The 7th Grade Band will take an all-day field trip to UW-Whitewater on Thursday, Feb. 25. The band will work with Dr. Glenn Hayes, UWW Director of Bands in the beautiful Young Auditorium on the UWW Campus. Students will take part in a masterclass with UWW Music Education Students, listen to the Prairie View 7th Grade Band and eat lunch on campus. The trip itinerary can be found here: https://goo.gl/9sKoGC The cost of the buffet style lunch is $7.00. Please send cash or check (Payable to "PMMS") by Tuesday, Feb 23 (we will have someone collecting money at our concert of Feb. 23 as well). The permission slip you signed at the beginning of the year had this date on it so we are all set there. If you would like to chaperone this trip please fill out this form http://goo.gl/forms/eIRx8IPEyq I will be in touch with you about chaperoning specifics. Thanks!
