Bulldog Bulletin
December 16, 2016
Have a safe and wonderful winter break! We'll see you back at school on Tuesday 1/3/17!
Principal's Message
Dear Bulldog Families,
Excitement is in the air…first snow, a variety of holidays and traditions to celebrate, anticipation of increased time with family and friends over winter break…This is also a time to celebrate the mid-point of the school year and the growth that we have seen in your children. Dr. Combs, our Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning visited yesterday and was very impressed with the teaching and learning she saw.
When we return from Winter Break, we will be having Fun Fact Fridays. We plan to share FUN FACTS about New Britton’s 25-year history. If you or someone you know is a Bulldog alumnae and have a fun fact to share, please email Michelle Ayres at mayres@hse.k12.in.us. Thank you for helping us collect fun facts in celebration of our 25 years!
Science Fair registrations and project proposals are due on January 19th. Winter Break is a great opportunity to start brainstorming a question that you can explore and research. One starting point mentioned by Professor Steve was to search 100 Science Fair Project Ideas. There are many great ideas waiting for us to research!
Please remember to register for science fair HERE.
Our Science Fair 101 Night is on Tuesday, January 10 from 6:00-7:00. This is an excellent opportunity to ask any questions you may have about science fair.
On behalf of the New Britton Elementary staff, we would like to wish you a Happy Holiday Season. We look forward to our continued work with your student on Tuesday, January 3rd. As always, thank you for partnering with us in education.
Sincerely,
Lori Mankin
