Hello! We hope you have been keeping warm and dry this weekend. Thank you to all the parents and staff who came together last Thursday and Friday for Parent Teacher Conferences. We appreciate our special partnership to help our students be their best. We are looking forward to a fun, action-packed week ahead! Our make-up fire drill is currently scheduled with the Arlington Heights Fire Department for tomorrow afternoon. We are also looking forward to our first grade musical performance and the Halloween parade and parties! Have a great Dolphin week!

Safety First!

With colder temperatures upon us and winter on its way, we are asking for all families to take extra time, courtesy and caution during arrival and dismissal in the car line. You can click here to access our carline and parking maps. Additional safety reminders are posted below. We ask that you immediately contact our school office (847-398-4280) if you witness an unsafe traffic violation. If possible, please note the vehicle make, model, license plate and description of the driver. We appreciate everyone's care and cooperation to help keep our students safe!

1st Grade Musical Auction

Hey 1st Grade Parents: Your child's musical is right around the corner, and you have the opportunity to win a set of four front row seats and/or a front parking spot to the evening performance. The Dryden PTA is auctioning off two sets of four front row seats and one front parking spot. The auction will end on Monday, October 28 at 9:00 AM. All proceeds will go to PTA to help provide 60 Programs each school year for students, parents and teachers. Here is the link to auction. Happy Bidding!!! If it is raining, or if rain is likely, we will send out communication on October 31 by 1:00 PM about an indoor parade that will take place in the Dryden commons at 2:00 PM.

If the weather cooperates, the outside parade will begin at 1:30 PM.

We look forward to a safe and fun-filled celebration at Dryden!

Veteran's Day Breakfast Donations Needed

On Monday, November 11, Dryden hosts a Veteran's Day Breakfast for our local Veterans and their families. We would greatly appreciate some donations. Please click HERE to visit the link to sign up to volunteer your time, paper goods, or food. Thank you!

Family Dance Wrap Up and Photos

Thank you to Lindsay Nugent for organizing an amazing Family Dance last weekend! We had over 100 families attend, and a great time was had by all. Your family photos are in and ready for order! You can click HERE to view and order your photos. Sales will end on Wednesday, October 30, and your photos or digital image code will be delivered to your eldest child at Dryden in a few weeks. Thank you so much for attending the Sweetest Day Family Dance, and please let us know if you have any questions.

Last Call for entries - National PTA’s Reflections program

The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
