TIMED MILE IN PE!Dear Parents, This year, first grade through fifth grade will be running the timed mile in PE. Students will have three opportunities to participate in this activity. The coaches will be focusing on goal setting with each student and encouraging self-motivation and improving their time whether it be in seconds or minutes throughout the year. Kindergarten will be focusing on how many laps they can make around the track in 10 minutes. Please make sure your students wear tennis shoes and the appropriate clothing for their scheduled day. If the student is absent or cannot participate in PE, they will make-up the run in the allotted time or the following week. Klein Online Students will be given an opportunity to run their timed mile at home with parent supervision. If your child will be participating in the timed mile at home, please email their coach with their time so we can record it. Contact your child’s coach if you have any questions or concerns. We can’t wait to see all the progress each student makes!!!! | WATER DONATIONSMany students are coming to school without water bottles to fill and we would like to provide them with proper hydration throughout the day.
