The Reese Report
January 21, 2022
Note from Dr. Erdie
The James Reese Career and Technical Center staff wish you a Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to a wonderful Spring Semester. It is application time for FBISD students. We are looking to continue growing the number of students attending James Reese CTC next year. Please share the application information with other families in FBISD.
Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases this month, we have rescheduled The Reese Experience Night to February 10, 2022. We feel having prospective students visit James Reese CTC is important and moving it back provides the best opportunity for an in person event to occur. If the COVID-19 positive cases are still on the rise, we will shift the event to virtual.
FBISD strongly encourages staff and students to wear masks. In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, our classrooms are cleaned between the AM and PM cohorts and our staff have disinfectant spray and wipes available as needed.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Julia Erdie

A Note from Nurse Bostic
Unfortunately, we are still in pandemic and now it has been compounded by Influenza season.
Please consider getting vaccinated for COVID and Influenza if you have not already done so.
Vaccines work with your body's natural defenses to help you safely develop immunity to disease.
Please remember if you become ill and/or have any symptoms which may be COVID related, please stay home, contact your medical provider, or get tested. Remember to remain at home until you receive your test results. This helps to protect your classmates and school personnel.
If you test positive, please complete the Fort Bend ISD Wellness Screener , which is located on the FBISD homepage and your campus home page.
