With a focus on increased school safety in LPOSD, controlled access doors have been installed at Sandpoint High School and other schools throughout the district. We are one of the first schools to initiate the controlled access entrances. The protocol for how individuals (students, parents, visitors, services, etc.) enter the building during school hours is outlined below. To further our focus on safety, this will allow our resource officers to work in other security capacities as we implement the upgraded safety system.
