Kindness Counts

It's important to notice the little things because the little things matter. Students and staff are regularly being recognized with Bucket Tickets for their random acts of kindness. This program allows students, teachers and staff to recognize each other for the little things in a bigger way! Tickets are available for anyone to give when they notice a random act of kindness of another.

Some of the most recent wonderful act of kindness noted are:

  • helping a friend
  • hanging up another child's coat when it was on the ground
  • helping a friend clean up a spilled drink
  • playing a game with a classmate that didn't have anyone to play with
  • noticing a friend who was sitting alone at lunch and asking to move seat to sit with them

Whole classes who demonstrate the most acts of kindness are recognized at the end of each week.
