Sex Trafficking
It's everywhere, all the time.
In Loving Memory Of My Innocence
My dearest innocence passed away the night I was captured. I was taken to an unfamiliar place, beaten and drugged until I was out cold. When I woke up, I found her dead. The large, dirty man had taken her. But now, she's gone forever. She was a very important part of my life. I wish she was still here with me. My Innocence will be truly missed.
Wanted:
Females being trafficked range in age from 9 to 19 years old with the average age being 11. Most of the girls are younger than 15. Traffick Kings will pay hundreds of dollars for a young virgin girl.
Glitter and Gold
Many Traffick Kings will pay a large ammount of money for young children (both male and female) therefore making them somewhat wealthy.
An unwritten contract
When a child is captured, there is an "unwritten contract" with no escape. If they try, they might be killed or beaten. Less than 10% of first-time escapes have been successful.
Kayley Dixon: A Hero In Herself
Kayley Dixon, a 14 year-old Canadian girl wrote and read a beautiful and tear-inducing poem called "A Touch Of Sexual Assult" that included many references to gender discrimination, dress code, and how girls "ask for it" when they wear revealing clothing. Her poem earned a standing ovation and a roar of claps, along with a few watery eyed cheers.
