In Loving Memory Of My Innocence

My dearest innocence passed away the night I was captured. I was taken to an unfamiliar place, beaten and drugged until I was out cold. When I woke up, I found her dead. The large, dirty man had taken her. But now, she's gone forever. She was a very important part of my life. I wish she was still here with me. My Innocence will be truly missed.

Kayley Dixon: A Hero In Herself

Kayley Dixon, a 14 year-old Canadian girl wrote and read a beautiful and tear-inducing poem called "A Touch Of Sexual Assult" that included many references to gender discrimination, dress code, and how girls "ask for it" when they wear revealing clothing. Her poem earned a standing ovation and a roar of claps, along with a few watery eyed cheers.
