Meet Ms. Wasko!
Hello Lakeville South! My name is Emma Wasko and I am a student teaching this semester with Julie Brott in vocal music. I am currently going through the post baccalaureate licensure program for choral music education. I have my undergrad from the University of Alaska Anchorage in vocal performance. I have spent the last 3.5 years working as a teacher at a daycare in Edina called The Cradle Club. In my free time, I teach the children's choir at my church, play dungeons and dragons, and cuddle with my cats (Aayla and Ahsoka). I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 8 years, he proposed during our trip to Scotland. I am so excited to be here and working with the amazing teachers in the music department!

Lakeville South Choirs
The Vocal Music program consists of four curricular choirs (Encore, Concert Chorale, Bel Canto and Cougar Choir) and two extra curricular choirs (Harmony and the TriTones) . You must be registered with a choir to participate the extra curricular groups. The Vocal Music Department provides many performance opportunities for students interested in music and singing. Every other year, the Concert Chorale takes an extended fieldtrip. Anyone interested in singing is welcome to join a choir, auditions for Bel Canto, Concert Chorale and Encore are in the Spring of the year, auditions for Harmony and the TriTones are in the Fall. Our goal is to make music a lifelong passion in each of our students’ lives.
