Curriculum
Reading: We will begin guided reading groups next week. Each group will work on vocabulary development and tracking words. We will be on Unit 2 so please begin practicing the sky blue high frequency words if you have not already. Remember to review the green words. It is a homework expectation that these words will be practiced daily.
Math: Next week we will do the unit 1 test and start unit 2. Our focus will be understanding that numbers 6-10 are made up of a group of 5 plus some more. We will also concentrate on understanding that 1 more than a number is the next number in the count sequence.
