Wolf Lake Elementary Newsletter

October 2016

As the new principal at Wolf Lake Elementary, I feel thankful to be a part of this team of educators that get to work with, and influence the learning where your child attends. I have been an educator for 14 years. Before becoming the principal at Wolf Lake I taught 4th grade and was an after school program administrator for West Noble. For the last four years I had the opportunity to be an assistant principal for Goshen and Prairie Heights Community schools. I have already had several opportunities to meet a lot of you at our open house night, dropping and picking up your student, or at various sporting events. My goal is for students to be safe, happy to come to school, and to learn and grow in order to better themselves for a positive future. I welcome and encourage you to contact me when you are in the building or if you ever want to know more information about our school. Our school contact information and my email address can be found at the bottom of this newsletter. I hope to see all of you at our upcoming parent/teacher conferences!

A New Beginning!

Happy fall Wolf Lake Elementary families. I can't believe how fast the school year is progressing. Our new registration system has allowed us access to most of our family email addresses. The school year is moving along and we are implementing changes to better enhance the learning environment at Wolf Lake. We have changed lunches to provide more time for students at recess to play and socialize with each other. Our WOLF PACK walking program is encouraging students to exercise. We have started a part time art class once a month for students. This month we will be focusing on our first Character Counts trait which will be trustworthiness.
