In Person Expectations

We plan to pilot the in person groups and will consider three other options: 1) outdoor group activities; 2) online capacity simultaneously; and, 3 ) additional groups if we have a large registration. As we say "the more we learn and know, the more we grow." We will make the necessary changes as deemed appropriate.

A few group guidances:

  • mask requirement (none for infants),
  • remember to stay in areas of learning as they are set up for social distancing
  • at all times, family participation is required to support your child's participation
  • food and drinks are prohibited in space

What makes the ECAF signature "Play, Learn, and Grow Together" programs special? The families active engagement with the children! This expectation has not changed. We appreciate your support and input as we set out on the next journey as COVID and the variant are still real. Finally, vaccinate as it protects your family, friends, and neighbors! Thank you for paying attention to these safety standards.

*All groups are subject to change based on city, state, and federal mandates.

PLAY, LEARN, AND GROW TOGETHER GROUPS

This group is play-based learning that has something for every young learner. We will imagine, create, sing, and read with the intent of enhancing the 5 domains of child development -- communication, gross and fine motor, problem-solving, and personal-social skills. All ages welcome! Time subject to change.

LET'S GO TO KINDERGARTEN

This group is geared toward the family with a 3-5 year old who wants to learn school readiness skills prior to entering a formal early childhood education program such as child care or Kindergarten. We will explore early literacy skills, science, technology, engineering, art, math (STEAM), and social emotional learning. Time subject to change.

THE ECAF PARENTING JOURNEY SERIES: A PRERECORDED FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM

We will try to offer a road map stopping and exploring common grounds, celebrating developmental milestones, sharing inevitable pitfalls, and refueling with the energy that keeps us moving. These sources or tools advance our knowledge and provide us with more information allowing us to anticipate what may be ahead and plan our travels into Parenthood and Early Education accordingly. Let’s call it a guidebook that leads us through the parenting journey , not alone, but together as the journey can sometimes be lonely and it is always more fun when we have others join us, and, it’s easier to reach our destination safely. No matter how many stops or bumps along the way, we aim to ensure future opportunities for successful excursions.

After you complete the questionnaire, we will review the information about your child's development with you, share handouts to further enhance their growth, and provide you with a copy of the completed questionnaire.
