Prinicipal's Message
Getting through this time of quarantine means everyone is chipping in to make each day productive, keep each individual emotionally and physically healthy. As I talk to families, it's clear that siblings, parents, grandparents, neighbors, extended family, friends and teachers are stretching themselves to ensure children have what they need. This is especially true for parents and guardians who, out of necessity rather than design, have taken on the additional role of teacher, playmate and "home office associate."
As we enter our sixth week of distance learning, we trust that teachers' weekly learning plans are becoming more routine and easier to follow. Hang in there. Move forward with balance and patience. Keep yourself organized and committed to your student's learning. Celebrate small successes for yourself and your child, and ask for help when you need it. These next few weeks will help students prepare for continued learning this fall. The way we persist and care for one another during this difficult time will be something our children will always remember.
Be grateful for one another
Consider both highs and lows
Take care of what's inside and outside

Step 5: Buy the yearbook!
An unusual year calls for a unique yearbook. Parents are asked to submit “A Photo of learning from Home.” For our final yearbook section, we want to include one photo of EVERY student taken by a guardian during the “Distance Learning” time (March 14 to present). Classroom teachers are collecting these in their email accounts. Please email your teacher(s) one picture of your student learning at home during school dismissal if you haven’t already. This memorable photo is requested by Mon. 4/27/2020. Teachers will forward the class set of distance learning photos to the yearbook staff on this date.
The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.
