The Minarets Mustangs Boys Basketball went against the Fowler Redcats on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Mustangs Travel to Mammoth
Minarets Boys Basketball program has a different playing field of trust amongst each other. They show it by playing unified on the court and even out of the gym whether it's bonding at lunch or even going on field trips together as a team.

Softball Begins
With the new semester started, the spring sports are back in full force, which includes softball. Softball just started earlier this week and the team this year appears strong willed and ready to play.

Dramatic Desserts: A Night of Wonderful Performances and Delicious Deserts!
The advanced drama class had its Dramatic Dessert event on Jan 29. The Dramatic Desserts event also gave an opportunity to the students going to New York to auction off baked goods that they made to go towards the trip.
Proud To Be A Mustang: Pride Pantry
Students often forget snacks or don’t have the money to buy outfits for our ‘Professional Dress Mondays' which can be both financial and schedule struggles for many students on campus. The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA Club) has taken the initiative to make our school community better by creating the first ever Pride Pantry, a community service effort to help students on a day to day basis.

Loose Threads to New Threads
Loose Threads is a creative SLE about the issue of clothing waste, with the goal of collecting damaged clothing, using it in an art installation, and then recycling it.
SLE's in the Ag Department
As of recent, the Science department at Minarets High School has been thriving due to it’s amazing and dedicated student who have dedicated their SLEs to expand the farm.
What Will You Promise?
Because I Said I Would- a movement that changes lives. Minarets students gathered on Feb. 3 to listen to the social movement’s founder Alex Sheen speak about how the loss of his father sparked his desire to keep his promises.

Student Feature: Brayton Stenberg, already a Registered Parliamentarian
Minarets FFA is the home chapter to one of the youngest, if not the youngest registered parliamentarian! Sophomore FFA Member Brayton Stenberg competed for Parliamentary Procedure at the National level last October!
Glissaders Travel to China Peak
It was a fun time for the Minarets Mustangs who traveled to China Peak with the Glissader Club on Thurs. Feb. 6.
Incredible Sadie Hawkins
Sadie Hawkins this year took place at John's Incredible Pizza. They had unlimited drinks, food, and desserts.
Lip Dub, Assemble!
The Minarets Media program is counting down the days until Feb. 28., the day of the annual Lip Dub’s triumphant return to Minarets.The Minarets Lip Dub is a school wide event in which all students participate in a single shot music video.
Superbowl LIV Recap: What a Show!
On Sunday, Feb. 2, the 54th annual Super Bowl took place at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins in Florida. When 6:30 PM ET came around, fans from all over America were getting pumped for the intense showdown about to take place, between the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs and the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers.
