Gateway High School's 11th and 12th grade art students enjoyed a beautiful day of discovery at MASS MoCA Art Museum. MASS MoCA is the biggest contemporary art museum in the United States. This annual field trip ran for the first time since 2019(Pre-pandemic). Thank you to the Cultural Councils of Blandford, Chester, Huntington, Middlefield, Montgomery, and Russell for their large support for this trip. Without their powerful support, this field trip would not have been possible. Our students had a wonderful time and were mesmerized by the beautiful and thought-provoking exhibits.
Littleville PreSchool Students Learn About Germs
Nurse Heather came to talk to the half day preschoolers about germs and the importance of washing their hands. The preschoolers in Miss Sue’s just started a new unit on health and safety. Nurse Heather read the students a book about germs and then applied some pretend germs (glitter) to their hands via lotion to see if the children could thoroughly wash these visible germs away. They also discovered how easily the germs spread.
