IMPORTANT NOTICES
Saturday 14 March - House Cross Country - Years 7, 8 & 9 are all expected to compete, arrive at 9.00am to start at 9.30am. Years 10 & 11 are also expected to compete and support, arrive at 9.30am for a 10.00am start. Parents are most welcome, brunch refreshments will be available to all competitors afterwards. Presentations will be at 10.45am
Monday 16 March - Joint Music Concert at Senior Boys, featuring performances from boys and girls across the years. This will start at 7.00pm with refreshments served from 6.30pm. All the Choirs and ensembles will be taking part so all boys who participate in them need to attend. Mr Roach

Congratulations to the Music department and the Rowing department for their success last weekend with Maidenhead's got Talent and the Race Night; many thanks to the winchers who powered the races.
Well done to Donald Holiday who is representing England at Judo especially on his latest win against the Dutch.
A busy week to come with activities for our 3 for 3 events, the ISA U16 + U14 Sevens tournaments, ISA Drama and the Senior Cross Country to finish the week, your support will be hugely appreciated.

PTA QUIZ NIGHT - Friday 13 March
We are now just one week away from our annual quiz night at the senior girls site. Please book your tickets online as soon as possible. Doors open at 6.30pm for the first round to start at 7pm sharp.
SUMMER BALL - Saturday 13 June
Our next event will be the 2015 Summer Ball which will be held at the Junior Boys Site in a wonderful marquee. We have chosen an Arabian Nights theme. So please save the date and plan your tables of 10 now ! Tickets will go on sale in a week.
EASTER GOLF - Tuesday 31 March
A golfing afternoon at Huntswood Golf Club in Burnham. This is open to pupils, parents, families and friends. Full information sheets have been given out via boy post. The cost is £20 per person which includes lunch and nine holes of golf closing with a prize giving ceremony.

YEAR 10 GEOGRAPHY TRIP Friday 27 to Sunday 29 March - to Margam Park Field Studies Centre - Balance payment of £110 now overdue. Cheques payable to 'Claires Court Schools Limited' please or on-line. Information on the full programme and kit list will be available shortly.
HAZEWINKEL ROWING TRAINING CAMP Monday 6 to Saturday 11 April - request for the final balance payment and copy passport please, these are now overdue.
SKI TRIP Saturday 11 to Saturday 18 April - Please return a copy of passport and the information sheet as soon as possible.

Please bring plenty to eat and drink as there is no provision of food during the holiday times. Casual clothing may be worn.
Year 11 P.E. Compulsory Internal Moderation Monday 20 April 10.00am - 3.00pm Full information will be coming home shortly. Please arrive in Claires Court sports kit, and bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.

News from the Registrars Desk - All Year 11 boys who have expressed an interest in our Sixth Form should have received a letter confirming details of a meeting with Mr Giles our Head of Sixth Form.
Holiday Club – Tuesday 7 to Friday 17 April - We had a great half-term at Holiday Club and hope you did too. For the Easter holidays Years 1 & 2 continue their science journey to the CREST STAR ‘Shipwreck Challenge Day’ and ‘Marbellous Marbles’ are also on offer. Kidz Club has a vast array of Frozen themed fun, as well as the chance to become ‘Mini Mariners’ and ‘Pond Dippers’. Kool kidz will havetheir own ‘Eggstravaganza’ day and the ever-popular Top Trumps Tournament. Xtra clubs for the older kool kidz include Cookery, Craft and Drama. Easter Sports Club has a Taster Day on Tuesday 7 April with Cricket Master Skills days running Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 April at the Junior Boys site. Cricket Skills Development is also running on the Inset day after the holiday (Monday 20 April). Available to all Claires Court boys & girls in Years 4 and above. Touch Typing Holiday Courses - Pupils can learn how to type without looking at the keyboard, using all their fingers correctly. New and Intermediate classes available. 13-17 April with 10 hours tuition over 5 days £185.00. Summer Courses 27-31 July and 24-28 August. Full information and booking form available from Reception.
Allergen Reminder
Please remember to use an allergen label for homemade cake/sweets etc. Stickers are available from the School Office or via the website. The rule of thumb is if it is already labelled i.e. shop bought the information is already there. It is solely for anything made from scratch or without a label.

Congratulations to Sebastian Tong and Sebastian Harris, who were both representing Berkshire in the under U18's Tennis Tournament in Hull for the County Cup. They won their doubles game thereby clinching the tournament for Berkshire.
