While Michigan schools are closed this school year, weekday programming will be as follows:

  • 7am to 9am -- Current PBS KIDS programming (Ages 2-8 years old)
  • 9am to 1pm -- Grades 4th-8th
  • 1pm to 6pm -- Grades 9th-12th

Parents and caregivers seeking traditional PBS KIDS programming after 9am will find it on the 24/7 Detroit PBS KIDS Channel (56.2). Programming will go back to our original schedule once the need is over.

Nature at Home

Here are some fun and educational activities focused on the outdoors and history. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has put together an extensive list of links and materials to give families plenty to do – check it out at Michigan.gov/NatureAtHome.

Resources include DNR nature videos, virtual field trips, indoor and outdoor nature exploration activities, lessons and reading materials for various grade levels, free apps and much more.

  15. Free cartooning classes for all ages Live! Internationally syndicated cartoonist Joe Wos of MazeToons fame is taking marker into his own hands to help! Beginning on Weds March 18th Joe will be offering free live cartooning classes online for all ages.
