Falcon Friday - August 5, 2022

Olathe South High School

Principal's Corner

Welcome back Falcons!

The start of school is just around the corner! The schedules are being finalized and our teachers are back in the building getting everything ready for your students return.

We had a few items to share as we approach the first days of school. This is an exciting time of year and we can't wait to welcome the Falcon Family back on campus next week!

This year we are tweeking the timing of our weekly parent update. Our Site Council gave us feedback that Friday afternoons are really hectic times for their families and that the weekly information would be more helpful to come on Thursday afternoons. We are keeping the Falcon Friday title......because it sounds good......but look for these on Thursday afternoons this year.

Enjoy your weekend!

Falcon Notes..............

From the Counseling Office................

Parents & Students of Falcon Nation,

As a counseling team, we are aware your schedule might be missing courses or you did not get the courses you expected, please contact your counselor via email for any scheduling issues.

If you don’t hear from your counselor in a couple of days, please be patient. We have many individuals in our department who are new this year and they will be attending new employee trainings, so responses might be slower than expected, sorry.

We will answer emails in the order in which we received it and we will respond to your email once the correction is made.

Thank you for your time and patience,

Falcon Nation Counseling Team
