From School Administration
The amazing community event drew a huge crowd. Tuesday night was the annual Science Fair where over 60 students displayed their projects. Wednesday was 5th grade's Simulated Congressional Hearings which was the culmination of the Social Studies learning from the fourth quarter. Thursday night was the final Band and Strings Concert for the year. Monday is Memorial Day and schools are closed. It is a time to pause and remember those who have died in service to our country.
Have a great weekend!

Indicators of Educational Equity Survey Results (Part 3 of 4)
Instructional Excellence
This week, we are going to focus on the Instructional Excellence portion of the Indicators of Educational Equity Survey.
According to the responses in the survey, our strongest response was question number 1, "How well are we doing as a school in believing that all students will learn and succeed?"
This is great because if you believe students can learn, they will learn. Our mem
Our highest area of concern for this indicator was question number 5, "How well are we doing as a school in asking for and valuing feedback from all students in the learning process?" 50% of the survey respondents shared we do extremely well or quite well in this area. At the same time, 19% of the respondents were not sure. This provides our school an opportunity to educate parents/families. We will continue to share information with families about resources during the elementary school years all the way through the high school years in the Howard County Public School System as we did this past week.
As we continue to develop our 2022-23 school improvement plan, we will focus on new ways to identify greater opportunities and access for our students.
