Bid farewell to summer, school's back in session Monday morning! We will see everyone bright and early; remember gates open at 7:45am and the final bell rings at 8:00am. Make sure you are working hard to be arriving to school on time and ready to learn!

For parents, please take a moment to review the Pick-up and Drop-off routines and routes below, and also watch a short clip from Mr. Warwick reviewing the process in detail. This will help ensure smooth and safe transitions to and from school.

Next, be sure to also take care of filling out the Free/Reduced Lunch application for each of your students! Even if you do not qualify for free/reduced lunches, your responses help our school on a whole--allowing for free breakfast for all students, free lunches for students 5th grade and younger, and daily afternoon nutritious snacks at dismissal.

GREAT NEWS! Save 50% on your student's technology fee if you complete the Free/Reduced Lunch application before Oct. 1st! Don't miss this opportunity to save money on student fees!

Please take a moment to fill out the Google Form for 2022-23 Chromebook Use Agreements. Each student will need a submission, BEFORE they are assigned a Chromebook for school use. You will also be able to opt-in to the Chromebook Protection Plan with WPS in you choose. Please click the link below!

What Shall I Wear?

Attire, styles, and modes of appearance for Westy Academy students are those that are not detrimental to the learning environment of the school and the safety and general welfare of all students and faculty.

SHIRTS

Royal blue, navy blue, or forest green collared shirts or sweaters.

Pants:

Khaki or Navy Blue pants, shorts or skirts/skorts. Jumpers may be worn. Minimum length for shorts and skirts/skorts is "four fingers above knee"

SHOES

Can be any color or style in a closed toe tennis shoe. Tennis shoes are required for participation in P.E.
No Heelies (roller shoes). Maintain appropriate shoes for the season.

Closed toed tennis shoes of any style or color are to be worn to school daily. This is so students can play safely on the playground and participate in P.E.

If a student arrives at school and is not compliant with the uniform code, a phone call will be made to the parent/s and they will need to bring the appropriate apparel.

Westy Juniors and Westy Futures sports registration for grades K-8 is open!

Please visit westyathletics.com to access online registration and information for Fall programs. There is a $50 participation fee per activity and payment is processed during the online registration process. Space is limited so make sure to register early!
