- Delaware:100 miles long and 30 miles wide/bordered by Pennsylvania, Maryland, Atlantic Ocean, and New Jersey/1,955 miles is land 535 is water.
- Pennsylvania:283 miles long and 160 miles wide/bordered by New York, Lake Erie, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Ohio Territory/44820 miles is land and 1239 is water.
- New York:330 miles long and 283 miles wide/bordered by Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Canada, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Atlantic Ocean, Vermont Territory, Massachusetts, and Connecticut/48708 miles is land and 7251 miles is water.
- New Jersey:150 miles long and 70 miles wide/bordered by New York, Atlantic Ocean, Delaware Bay, and Pennsylvania/7419 is land and 1303 is water .
How did colonist deal with illness? Describe the economic conditions of the region.
Illness: when kids got sick mothers would make home remedies and would move there beds closer to fire for warmth, every family had a herb garden to make medicine, they would add honey to medicine to not make it as bitter, learned cures from traditions, folklore, and medicine books
Money:Part agriculture, part industrial, wheat and other grew on farms, Factories in Maryland make iron and factories in Pennsylvania make paper and textiles, trade was plentiful in these colonies.
