What is the internet?
The Internet is made up of multiple networks that are connected together. The internet is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies.
What is the need for IP addressing and the role of DNS servers
- You browse the website
- Website sends packets of data to the DNS
- DNS then gets the IP address and sends this to the server
- The server then sends the data back your your IP address
