Resilience and Improving Outcomes in School-Based Practice
Resilience can help us manage and overcome hardship. But resilience is not something we’re born with—it’s built over time as the experiences we have interact with our unique, individual characteristics. That’s why we all respond to stress and adversity—as we have experienced in the past year—differently. Embedded in those different response strategies are opportunities for improving outcomes; both for ourselves and for the children with whom we work.
