Cobra Strike

From the Desk of the Junior/Senior High School Principal

Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime. We'll take the best, for the rest, and someday will find that these are the best of times.

Dear Class of 2023,

As we approach the end of the school year and your final week at Jackson Heights High School, I wanted to take a moment to express how proud I am of each and every one of you. This year has presented unique challenges and obstacles, but you have persevered and continued to excel academically, athletically, and in your extracurricular activities.

You have worked tirelessly to achieve your goals, and it is clear that your hard work has paid off. Your dedication and commitment to your studies and your involvement in the school community is a testament to your character and your potential to make a positive impact on the world.

As you prepare to embark on the next chapter of your lives, I urge you to remember the lessons you have learned and the friendships you have made here at Jackson Heights. Cherish the memories you have created, and use them as a source of inspiration and motivation as you move forward.

I want to extend my sincerest congratulations to each and every one of you on your graduation from Jackson Heights High School. You have accomplished so much during your time here, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things in the future.

Remember to always hold your heads high, have faith in yourselves and your abilities, and never stop striving for excellence. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors, and I cannot wait to see all the wonderful things you will accomplish.

Keep on making a difference.

Lets Go Cobra Day

On May 10th, we will be doing a pre-enrollment day for all current and potential students preK-12. There will be no school this day as we will have a lot going on. We will be doing sports physicals for sports provided by Dr. Allen's office in the morning. All day we will have computers set up for pre-enrollment into powerschool for everyone. This way everyone can do their course requests and forms. Anyone that had filled out our early form we have been sending out will have a much easier time filling this out on May 10th. Also this pre-enrollment now will make enrollment in August much simpler.

Mr. Andrews will be providing school tours all day that includes the missile silo and the tunnel.

In the High School Commons, we will have a "Cobra Fair" set up with tables for our clubs and sports so families can meeting with the coaches and sponsors.

All families are encouraged to enroll on this day.

There is no way i could do what I do if it were not for this incredible woman. Brittany has been my best friend for the past 12 years and is always up for another adventure. When I am working the long hours at a school function, she is holding down the fort with our two boys and four dogs. While I have the long hours, we both make a point of making the most of when we do get to be together. She brings the boys up to events whenever we can. They came to the Block party this past Friday, and my boys showed the students how to dance properly at prom. However, when she can't make it to events, we still make a point of celebrating the days when I am home and we get to have family time. I get to do what I do at school because of this amazing woman and her support. To my best friend, amazing wife, and mother of the Mancub and Hiccup...RAWR!!

Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind.
