Momentum Monday
January 11, 2021
Start your week off right by joining us for Momentum Mondays as we connect the heart and mind and learn practical ways to infuse SEL into the learning process, discover self-care strategies and explore approaches to strengthen family partnerships.
This week our focus is on self-mangement. Self-management skills are defined as "The abilities to manage one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors effectively in different situations and to achieve goals and aspirations. This includes the capacities to delay gratification, manage stress, and feel motivation and agency to accomplish personal and collective goals." (CASEL, 2020)
