Munhall Lip Sync
What an amazing job with our 2021 Munhall Virtual Lip Sync!! Our students and staff did an amazing job with their creative performances. If you missed it, you can still access the event here: 2021 Munhall Virtual Lip Sync!
MUN Run Fundraiser
I want to thank all of our students and parents for their efforts in raising money through the MUN Run! With the funds, we will be purchasing a sensory path, which will support our Mustangs in a variety of ways. I also want to thank Sarah Barthel for her efforts, and Mr. Duncan and Mr. Khoury for providing a fun experience for students during their PE time this week.
The top fundraisers for each grade level were allowed to pick a theme for next week, and the breakdown is as follows:
Monday: Extra Recess Day
Tuesday: Show and Tell Day
Wednesday: Favorite Outfit Day
Thursday: Sports Theme Day
Friday: PJ Day
Because we reached our fundraising goal as a school, I will be ‘Camping on the Roof’. I will be sure to communicate this date with families once a date is selected (I’m waiting for really nice weather😊)
5th Grade Clap Out Event
Friday, May 28th all 5th grade students, remote and in-person, will have the opportunity to participate in a ‘Clap Out’ event to celebrate their achievements and pending transition to middle school. The event will begin at 1:00 pm, and 5th grade families are welcome to join in the festivities. Parents will be asked to remain outdoors, lining up in the designated areas (marked by cones), in a socially distant manner. 5th grade students will return to their classrooms and will be dismissed through our normal dismissal procedures at 1:40. Remote students will be allowed to leave with their families immediately after the event. Parents of in-person students are invited to return to their vehicles after the event to reduce gathering and wait for dismissal.
Returning Student Registration for 2021-2022 School Year
Returning student registration for the 2021-2022 school year opened on April 26th. Parents can sign into the Returning Student Online Registration form located in the Parents/Community menu of the District website.
Parents/guardians will use their Home Access Center (HAC) credentials to sign in and select individual students to complete each registration. The electronic registration forms for elementary and middle school students should be completed by June 1.
Registration fees for all grades will be available in Pushcoin beginning July 1st and will be billed to reflect the early bird discount if paid by July 31. Pushcoin will email invoices for accounts with balances due on the 15th of each month until paid in full.
Returning Library Books
All library books currently on student loan are due back to the LRC by Friday, May 21st.
Have a great weekend!

Join the Orchestra!
All students entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade next fall are welcome to participate in the elementary string program. Our goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences in music and develop individual student achievement and appreciation of music. The elementary instrumental music program also provides excellent preparation for the middle school and high school bands and orchestras.
There are four string instruments for students to choose from. Click on these links to learn more about each instrument.
Orchestra Parent Information Virtual Meeting
If you are interested in enrolling your child in orchestra for the 2021-2022 school year, please attend one of our Orchestra New Parent (Virtual) Information Meetings. You will hear more about our D303 Orchestra program, and have a chance to ask any questions you may have. For your convenience, one of the D303 preferred instrument rental vendors will be at each meeting to assist you with renting an instrument. At the end of the presentation, there will be breakout rooms so that we can meet and I can answer any questions specific to Munhall or Lincoln School. Both meetings are identical. Choose the one that works best for you!
Tuesday, May 18 7:00PM
