Feeling Out of the Loop?

If you are not getting school emails or if you did not receive a call from the SchoolCast Emergency Notification System last week, please contact Bill Gooch at bgooch@mhbs.org.

If you need help figuring out Parent PortalsPlus, Mr. Gooch can help you with that, too. There's a free app, ParentPlus from Rediker Software, that will help you keep up with your child's grades and other important information. Update: Rediker has fixed the glitch for iOS users; your child's average for each class is now available on the app.

Safety First: Harassment/Bullying Policy

MHBS is dedicated to fostering an environment based on the teachings of Matthew 7:12 and Ephesians 4:29-32, which promote kindness, acceptance, and tolerance. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a learning environment in which every child feels safe and secure.

To that end, we have created two avenues for students to report harassment or bullying. "No Bully Stands Alone" will be enforced, and students must report incidents of harassment and bullying to a teacher or an administrator. Students may report bullying via voice mailbox (256-718-8523) and email (bully@mhbs.org). Please see the Student Handbook for a complete explanation of the harassment and bullying policies.

Check Out our Website.

Please visit the MHBS website to find out all kinds of information about the Hill. As always, thank you for supporting Mars Hill: www.mhbs.org.

Let Us Know What's Going On... Let Others Know What's Going On!

If you have an event or human interest story directly related to the Mars Hill 5-12 family, we would love to know so "Happenings on the Hill" can include it. Email jfoust@mhbs.org. Also let others know what's going on on the Hill by sharing "Happenings" on your social media outlets.

The mission of Mars Hill Bible School is to provide every student--in a cooperative effort with the home and family--a Christ-centered, Bible-based education in an environment that fosters spiritual, academic, physical, and social growth.
