Our Goal: World View Shaping

This past week our teachers had the privilege of attending the Southeast Christian School Convention. While there we received practical advice on how to improve our classrooms and provide better service to you and your students. We were also challenged to keep encouraging the next generation to embrace godliness in all of their thinking.

Back in August at GCA's Opening Night, I told you that our main goal is to shape each student's world-view into what our Creator truly intends it to be. We must recognize that God created us perfectly and, despite our choices to reject His ways, desires to redeem every aspect of His Creation. With this knowledge we can improve in obviously Christian aspects of life like love, faith, generosity. We can also recognize that everything we do, including math, writing, science, music, sports, and even lunch can be used to give glory back to our Creator as we seek to redeem those activities by approaching them with integrity and responsibility.
