Parsons Elementary School

Week of March 27th - April 1st

A busy but productive week.

Hello family and friends,

This has been a fabulous week at PES. We started our week with a parade honoring some of our beautiful students for World Down Syndrome Day. We have pictures posted below. We continued this week focusing on our key of the month, COMMITMENT. Our students continue to learn what it means and how we finish what we start. We finished the week out with Ms. Hope celebrating our students of the month. While these wonderful moments have been happening, our teachers and staff are working hard to help our scholars grow.

Next week, we will have the opportunity of having the Future Class of 2035 on our campus for Kindergarten Orientation. Students and parents will be able to meet our Kindergarten teachers, get a tour of the school, and learn about online registration. It will be an exciting time for us as a school and a district.

Lastly, we have a fundraiser beginning Monday. We will be selling chocolate candy bars. Each bar is $1, and there are 60 per box. Because we do not want to send them home with the students, we ask parents to come to the PES Cafeteria on Monday from 2-6 to grab a box or 2. We have 240 boxes, and I know we can sell them all. The last time we did this, we sold over 300 boxes. All proceeds will go towards our Carnival Day on May 20th.

We are blessed to be able to assist in helping your child grow in their educational journey. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. Have a great week.
