The Mission and Vision of Holy Trinity Catholic High School

Mission:

Holy Trinity Catholic High School seeks to form the Christian Leaders of Tomorrow; we strive to develop the intellect, educate the heart, and form the character of each student by giving witness to Gospel values.

Vision:

Guided by the Holy Spirit in a Catholic environment Holy Trinity seeks to empower every student to graduate with superior academic knowledge, maturity, and confidence founded in Christian values for the achievement of life long success.

Big picture

At Holy Trinity Catholic High School we believe communication between the school and community is crucial to making our students successful. This Weekly Bulletin will detail any announcements and events that are taking place the upcoming week. Please look for this bulletin on Monday mornings to be sent to your email address on file.

EIM training

Ethics and Integrity Ministry (EIM) In an effort to protect our children, the Diocese of Austin mandates that all individuals who have contact with our children must be in compliance with the Ethics and Integrity in Ministry Policy, which equips each of us with the tools and knowledge to protect our children from possible abuse and perpetrators. All parents MUST complete this process to volunteer at the school.

Registration is required through the Diocesan. In order to register for an EIM Workshop, you must first complete the volunteer application, “eAppsDB”. Once you have attended the workshop please submit a copy of the certificate to the school office. This workshop is for new parents and those who are in need of the refresher course.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

We are excited to announce our new high school discernment dinners at Our Lady of Guadalupe! The first dinner will be Thursday October 11th at 7pm in the parish rectory. Men of high school age with an interest in the priesthood are invited to join others for evening prayer, dinner and discussion. Please call the parish office for more information at 254-773-6779

Volunteers needed for the St. Joseph's Fest-of-All, October 14th

My name is Angela Inman and I am the President of the Knight Cappers. We will have a funnel cake booth at the festival and need 2 or 3 students starting at 2pm until clean up around 5:30pm (they would help take tickets, take funnel cakes from those cooking and put powdered sugar to give to the customer, may do some back and forth walking to get additional supplies, clean dishes, and help with our clean up after we are out of mix around 5:30 pm. I would be willing to write a community service or volunteer letter to help them with any hour requirements they might have. I would ask that they are 15 or older because of the heavy lifting we may need help with and they will be around the hot oil we are cooking with. We wouldn’t ask them to do any cooking but wouldn’t stop them if they were willing, able, and old enough.

Many know that Holy Trinity would not be here today without the incredible faith of Fr. Charlie. So because many members of our community never knew Fr. Charlie during his lifetime, we are launching an initiative to "introduce" him through the memories of those who did. Our first post is written by Mrs. Donna Reilly who has been with the school since it's very beginning. We invite you to check it out, and stay tuned for more to come!
