Overnight Oats

  • heaping 1/3 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup Plain greek yogurt
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 banana, strawberries (thinly sliced)
  • 1 splash vanilla extract
  • optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (makes oatmeal even thicker)

1) Combine all ingredients, stir, cover, and place in refrigerator overnight. (most people use a mason jar; also zero cooking is required with this breakfast.)

2) In the morning, remove from fridge and top overnight oats with delicious toppings.


1/4 cup granola (Nature’s Path Vanilla Almond)
1/4 cup regular cereal (Nature’s Path Crunchy Vanilla Sunshine)
Fresh Fruit (blueberries)
Peanut butter
Shredded coconut
Cacao nibs

What makes this treat healthy?

This treat contains a lot of protein, natural and organic ingredients which makes the recipe healthier. Its also healthy because it contains less calories. There are a lot of good things about using Almond milk instead of regular milk. Almond Milk is high in antioxidants, heart healthy, high in vitamins and minerals, and of course low in fat. This treat is a perfect energy booster for the morning.
