A Note from the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
You are highly encouraged to fill out the Free and Reduced Price School Meal Application. Not only will this help determine if your student qualifies for free or reduced priced meals, but applications are also used to match funding our school receives for resources for students such as books and classroom furniture. Here is the application. If you have any questions, please contact our Child Nutrition Coordinator, Ms. Brown, at leann.brown@harmonytx.org.
Students enjoyed activities for Homecoming Spirit Week last week. This week, students also look forward to Red Ribbon Week activities as well as the Fall Festival.
Thank you,
Have a wonderful week.

Child Nutrition Information
Every year, your family is encouraged to submit a Free and Reduced Price Meal Application. It is important to fill out this form online at School Cafe for three reasons:
1. The application lets us know if your child is eligible for free or reduced price school meals. Children from families that earn below a certain income level can receive free or reduced price breakfast and lunch at school.
2. Your family may qualify for local educational programs and other local programs that provide benefits such as free textbooks or school supplies, free band instruments, or reduced fees for summer school or driver education in addition to reduced fees for the PSAT, SAT or Advanced Placement and College testing. They may even qualify for college tuition for dual credit courses.
3. Applications are used to match funding our school receives for resources for students such as books and classroom furniture.
The application is easy to fill out and easy to understand. Also, you do not have to worry about your information being shared with others because application information is CONFIDENTIAL. Support the School Breakfast and Lunch Program today by completing your application! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Child Nutrition Program Assistant, Ms. Brown, at leann.brown@harmonytx.org.

Home Visits
Harmony School of Excellence is proud to participate in the Home Visit Program! Home Visits build relationships between the school and the home in order to better meet the needs of students. During a Home Visit, teachers will briefly review your child's academic progress, discuss any upcoming school events and extracurricular activities, and answer any questions that you may have regarding your child or the school.
We want to visit as many of our families as possible this year. If you would like to schedule a home visit with your child's teacher or with an administrator, please fill out the Home Visit Request Form.
